The Easiest Way to Clean a Ceramic Hob

As an ex-professional oven cleaner I wish I’d known about this, it would’ve saved an awful lot of elbow grease!

1. Switch the hob off at the wall.
2. Sprinkle baking powder over the hob.
3. Wet a tea towel or other cloth with hot water and place flat on the hob.
4. Chill with a cuppa and cake for 30 minutes.
5. Wipe off the dirt, scrubbing lightly with a stainless steel spiral scrub if necessary.
6. Clean and polish with glass cleaner.
7. Switch the hob back on at the wall.
